STEM Initiative
One of the common workforce needs that the Tri-County Technology Consortium (TC2) supports is the STEM Initiative: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. STEM's goal is to have more teachers and students with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
TC2 supports STEM through sponsorship of F.A.S.E. activities -- Female Alliance - STEM Excellence. Also, shared training classes for Project Management and Network Security address key workforce training needs that TC2 has identified.
Training
Recent popular training topics have included Project Management and Computer Network and Information Security.
In addition, we have an ongoing effort to identify the requirements of both employeers and local universities to create internship and workforce experience programs.
Assessment
We continually work to assess ways this Consortium can better serve industry employers and other local organizations.
